Once again summer is almost upon us and our thoughts move towards basking in the Michigan sun and relaxing with friends and colleagues. Well, what better way to enjoy that sun and fellowship then by participating in the annual AIA Flint Golf Outing. Last year the American Institute of Architects, Flint Chapter, was able to host a wonderful event, complete with complimentary great weather and prizes for almost 80 golfers. Our chapter includes roughly 50 members from the Genesee, Shiawassee and Lapeer County area. AIA Flint again, sponsored a portion of a new home for a local family with the presentation of a large contribution check to
the Genesee County Habitat for Humanity. It was only due to the generosity and support of local building contractors, vendors and material suppliers that we were able to provide the outing.
